"Chow" magazine, which earlier this year, has been resurrected as an on-line entity, chow.com. Purchased by cnet, along with Chowhound. They're open for business in beta form -- have a look.
I like it -- looks like interesting content. The magazine was "too hip for the room," I thought -- they seemed to try too hard to be stylish and cool. But they had some good material which works better as a website. Nice personalization features and plenty of opportunities to comment. Looks lively and interesting.
